MARRIED SERIAL KILLERS

We all know that dude.  He cheats on every single girl that he has gone out with.  He lies to them. He takes money out of their wallets. And he always has a girl.  No matter what he does women are lining up to hang out with him. The more he cheats, and lies and steals the more women seem to dig him.

And there you are, trying to be nice, you spend time with her, you listen, you buy her flowers, you don’t even know why but you do. Someone told you women like it once, or something like that, so that’s what you do.  And yet you are always alone.

Sometimes it’s like chicks really want to hang with the bad dudes you know?  I mean what is that about?  Here you are making sure that her parents like you and she doesn’t even care. All she wants to do is bang that guy that broke into that ladies house around the corner, stabbed her until dead and raped her corpse.

Okay so I took it too far, but women that like bad boys are more the norm than one might think, and some women like bad boys that are really bad.  Not just bad, but you know, like serial killer bad.

Some of them dig these guys so much they marry them.  I don’t mean they marry them when they don’t know what is going on, you know like their husband is going out at night and killing people while they sleep soundly in their bed.  That is a whole different kind of freak right there.

I am talking the type that fall in love when the Serial Killer is in prison.  AFTER the guy has been convicted of slaughtering however many people and will never see the light of day again.  Now that is a wild ride.

Richard Ramirez is also known as the Nightstalker. He terrified Los Angeles for quite a while.  He was all over the place. He would pull people out of cars, he would break into apartments and homes.  He didn’t really have much of a method, he just liked to kill people. He would shoot them, stab them,  or attack them with hammers. Sometimes he would gouge out a woman’s eyes or carve a pentagram into her thigh

He liked to rape women too. He would kill dudes, but it seemed like he mostly killed them to get at the women for the most part. It didn’t seem to matter to him what he was after, some were old and some were young, but there was no doubt he was after something.

He got caught by an angry mob while he was trying to steal a car, His photo was all over the news. They just about beat him to death. The cops saved his life.  He was found guilty of 13 counts of murder.

Does this all sound irresistible? It was to Doreen Lioy.  She stated in interviews that when she saw his photo after his arrest she fell madly in love with him. She wrote him 75 letters while he was incarcerated and attended every day of his trial. In 1996 they were married. Ramirez wore a silver wedding band because followers of Satan do not wear gold.

She gave an interview to US NEWS in 1997 in which she said that Ramirez was charming, funny and kind. She also thought he was innocent. Ramirez passed away of natural causes in June of this year.

If you had to bet on a guy that could kill tons of women and still get married in prison though, you just had to bet on Ted Bundy.

Everyone knows Bundy, serial killer, necrophiliac, and charming man about town. Bundy confessed to 30 murders, the true total is probably much higher.

Bundy was regarded as handsome and charismatic by his young female victims.. He would usually approach them in public places, feigning an injury or disability, or impersonating an authority figure, before overpowering and assaulting them at a more secluded location. He sometimes revisited his crime scenes for hours at a time,  performing sexual acts with the decomposing corpses .  He sounds cool right?

Well he did to Carol Ann Boone.  Bundy used to work with her in Washington State and she traveled to Florida to watch his trial.  He asked her to marry him, she said yes, and they even had a baby together. Inmates were known to bribe guards so they could have a little alone time with their wives or girlfriends.

 Boone divorced Bundy in 1986. Bundy was executed in 1989. His daughter is now in her early 30’s. No one seems quite sure where she is.  Wherever she is it is a good bet that she has some issues.

Phillip Jablonski was convicted of murdering his first wife in 1978.  While he was in prison he put an ad in a newspaper ad seeking penpals. It was answered by Carol Jablonski.  Carol and Phillip married while he was incarcerated. Aww.

He was let out on parole.  Shortly thereafter he killed Fathyma Vann, who was 38.  He cut off her ears and carved “I love Jesus” on her back. The next day he killed Carol and her mother.  He also killed one more woman before he was arrested and put back in prison. Hopefully he  doesn’t have any more penpals.

Oscar Bolin killed at least three women. They were all young and were abducted and bludgeoned or stabbed. As horrific as this is the story would have died long ago if it wasn’t for Rosalie Martinez.

In 1995, public defender Rosalie Martinez was married to a prominent lawyer, with whom she had four young daughters. Then she met Bolin. The convicted serial killer was already on death row in Florida when she visited him in his cell to talk about his case.

 After meeting him she was adamant that he was no killer, and was desperate to prove his innocence. Martinez became estranged from her family and quit the public defender's office after jail officials said she had sex with Bolin in his cell.

In 1996, the pair married over the phone, whiles she was in a Gainesville, Florida apartment and he was in jail.  Bolin has had numerous court appearances over the years in attempt to get the conviction reversed, and Martinez has stayed with him the whole time.

The Hillside Stranglers both had game.  Of this there is no disagreement. Angelo Buono and Kenneth Bianchi were both convicted of kidnapping , torturing, raping and murdering numerous women  in the late 70’s in Los Angeles.

Buono was thought of as the leader at first but as time went on it was apparent that Bianchi was just as much of a mess.  Two dudes like this finding each other is rare indeed. Well they were cousins, but they still found each other. Scenes like that just don’t happen.

Buono married Christine Kuzuka. He met her in the most adorable way.  She was in prison visiting her husband when she saw Buono. She left her husband shortyly thereafter and married Buono. He died of a heart attack in 2002.

Bianchi also had some post slaughter romance. He initially took up with Veronica Compton, who was  a twenty-three year old aspiring actress. He convinced her  to murder a girl in the same manner of the Hillside Strangler in order to convince the police the killer was still at large. He invited her to visit him in prison, where he smuggled her some semen. She was then to kill some random chick and put the semen inside of her. There are obviously so many things wrong with this plan, but it isn’t worth it to rip it apart here.

Anyway Veronica tried to strangle some random woman, but she failed and was caught.  Once she was caught she was dumped by Bianchi.   She landed on her feet though and started a relationship with Douglas Daniel Clark who had decapitated 7 women. On Valentines day, Clark sent Veronica a card with a photo of a female headless corpse. See guys? It is all about knowing your lady.  Compton got out of prison in 2003. She might be on OK Cupid right now.

Bianchi wasn’t done. Shirlee Book had a thing for Ted Bundy but he wasn’t all that interested.  Bianchi was though, and he and Book were married in 1989. It was the first time they had met. All of their correspondence was through phone calls and letters.

So it just goes to show you.  Just be you. It doesn’t really matter how much you try to be someone you are not. Even if you’re a serial killer someone will love you. Someone will love you a lot.
