Harrison was born in 1933 and was first arrested at the age of twelve. In 1951, aged eighteen, he was charged with a killing and found incompetent to stand trial.
Between 1970 and 1973 women were killed in Chicago and mutilated after death, in some cases with parts of the bodies removed. Seven deaths are attributed to him.
