Sentenced to death by the appellate court of Agadir on December 2, 2004.

The killings were placed between 2001 and 2004 in the region of Taroudant, in the Souss valley of southern Morocco. The victims were boys and young men between thirteen and sixteen. They were abducted, raped, suffocated and mutilated. Moroccan reporting called him the Taroudant Serial Killer, after the region. Abdelaali Hadi was born in 1962.

He was arrested on September 7, 2004 and sentenced to death by the appeal court at Agadir on December 2, 2004, in a trial that lasted a matter of days.

Morocco retains capital punishment in law and has carried out no execution since 1993, so the sentence amounts in practice to indefinite imprisonment. Nothing has been reported about him since 2004.

The accessible sourcing is a short agency report of the sentencing. No Moroccan judgment is published, the victims have not been named, and there is no available account of the evidence. The figure of nine is the number the court accepted.
