According to the National Transportation Safety Board AL-BATOUTI seized the planes controls and turned off the auto-pilot after the captain left the cockpit. He then led the plane into a dive while continually repeating “I rely on God.”

CAMARGO calmly confessed to police that he had killed 71 children in Ecudor. The bodies had been dismembered. After raping his victims he hacked, slashed and crushed the girls with a machete. He said he chose children because he wanted virgins and they cried.

The first spree was in 1954 where he killed 21 people with an axe, he escaped and in 1957 he shot dead 10 men, eight women, eight children. He also murdered 5 more men with an axe, stabbed another, burned two women and a child, then strangled a 15 year old girl.
