Since this is the official website of the Serial Killer Calendar , we feel it is appropriate to include a detailed list of every historical events dealing with these killers. In this section, you can select any date of the year from the list on the left to find out exactly what happened on that day in serial killer history. Whether it is a killer's birthday, an execution, a murder or any other major event, you will find it here. Understand that this is a massive, on-going project and the staff of Serialkillercalendar.com will continuously add to the list of events that appear here. If you know of any event that is missing from this section, please contact us and (after our staff checks it for accuracy) we will be happy to include it on our site. January 24, 1989 - Ted Bundy
Finally on January 24, 1989, at approximately 7 a.m. in the morning Ted Bundy's memory of his atrocities would be burned away forever by the electric chair's unforgiving currents. Outside the prison walls stood hundreds of on-lookers and scores of news media representatives awaiting the news of Ted's death. Following the prison spokesman's announcement that Ted was officially dead, sounds of cheers came from the jubilant crowd and fireworks lit the sky. Shortly thereafter, a white hearse emerged from the prison gates with the remains of one of the countries most notorious serial killers.
