They asked us if they could use some some of our products in one of their shows. How cool is that huh? We'll keep you updated when we find out more. THIS DAY IN SERIAL KILLER HISTORY
January 30, 1977- David Berkowitz
Of these three assaults which had occurred in two different areas, the Bronx and Queens, only one bullet had been recovered intact. Consequently, police were not yet able to link these attacks to a single individual. Things quieted for two months. Then in the early hours of January 30, 1977, David Berkowitz went hunting for his next victim. Twenty-six-year-old Christine Freund and her fiance John Diel left The Wine Gallery in Queens around 12:10 A.M. and strolled towards his car. They were too absorbed in each other to observe that man who had been watching them. As they sat in the car, two shots broke the night, shattering the windshield. Christine grabbed her head; both shots had struck her. |

TODAY'S SERIAL KILLER TRIVIA
Many famous horror movie charecters have been based on weird old Eddie Gein. Buffalo Bill, the main antagonist in The Silence of the Lambs, was modeled after Ed Gein. Leatherface, the homicidal, human skin-wearing villain of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series, was also based on Gein. The film See No Evil, with WWE superstar Kane, also depicts some of Ed Gein's relationship with his mother. Gein was also widely believed to be the basis for main character Norman Bates in Robert Bloch's novel Psycho although Bloch later denied this in an interview. |
