Wednesday, August 15, 2007 STRANGE CASES The new comic book I am doing art for "Steve Niles' Strange Cases", written by Dan Wickline and created by Steve Niles, should be out any day now. CLICK HERE for Article! --------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday, July 24, 2007 SAN DIEGO COMICON I won't be having a table at the SanDiego Comicon this year due to the busy schedule at Disney and selling out of artbooks. However, I will be there to buy tons of useless stuff, go to some parties and hopefully be signing some "Sasquatch" books at the Viper Comics table. If you are there Friday stop by the Viper Comics table and say hi. I am not sure what time I will be signing for sure but it should be posted there. If you bought my artbook, the Devil's Rejects comic, RITE comic, Revere 4, Nocturnals companion, Sasquatch, Rob Zombie's Hellbilly Super Deluxe album or any other thing I have worked on lately bring them by for signing. Or bring a sketchbook and I'll do a free quick zombie drawing in there. If you haven't picked up "JOSH HOWARD PRESENTS: SASQUATCH" then this is the time to get it. A bigfoot sized book filled with tons of great art, several done by fellow deviants. I love meeting people so please stop by if you get a chance. Also, stop by the IMAGE comics booth and ask about the STRANGE CASES comic. Well, I had to put my new artbook through Vanguard press on hold indefinitely. Between Steve Niles and myself we both have a ton of prior commitments that need to be finished before I can give the book the time and focus I want to give it. So it won't be coming out anytime soon, at least not this year. I will however make sketchbooks time from time to sell on my site but as far as a larger format book, I'm not sure when I'll get to it. Good news is that these other projects are looking cool and I will still have some stuff out there to get sometime this year. If you didn't get a chance to download the LORDS OF SALEM music video I directed for ROB ZOMBIE from itunes you can now get it from YOUTUBE. Although this video was made after the "American Witch" one, it really is a prequel that takes place at the time of the witch trials. If you got upset that the poor American Witch was bested and tortured by the Lords of Salem then no need to worry. In the American Witcth video she rises from the grave and takes over America with her army of monsters. You can see that one HERE! I also threw in a lot of past witch trial movie references trying to get an old "Hammer Film" or "Amicus" type of feel to it. The Mask with spikes for example was taken from the opening scene of the film Black Sunday. Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities The video I directed, ISOCELES & ESPERANZA, for Actress Dawn Cody is now online at Acceptable.TV and needs your vote. Acceptable.TV is a new show on VH1 that features short 2 minute TV pilots. The show consists of pilots made by the cast but they have one website submission each week, If they get enough votes the submission will air on next weeks episode. Ours made it into the top 5 for voting and there is some tough competition and needs all the help it can get.
